The project involved the expansion and recladding of the production plant for Gruppo Fatro, a business leader in the Italian veterinarian pharmaceutical industry. The objective is to highlight the bond between building and man, where the common thread follows the corporate mission: Animal health for Human health.
Derma is a technological solution that responds to the functional and energy needs of the new plant, but that at the same time seeks an aesthetic individuality capable of conveying the company principles.
The concept makes reference to generative art, and also to the world of chemistry and biology, areas in which the company operates. Through a mathematical process, patterns are created that recall those of animal hides according to Alan Turing. These are then applied to the facades of the building to further reinforce the connection between all living things.
