On Wednesday, 2 September, Open Project took part in VICOPELAGO 2.0 | International School in Lucca, where Francesco Conserva presented the project for the Monastery of the Visitation of Saint Mary in Bologna.
The event provided an opportunity to explore experiences and strategies for the adaptive reuse of underused or disused ecclesiastical heritage. Open Project’s proposal addresses this context through a regeneration project introducing new functions for hospitality, care and social interaction, while respecting the historical value and identity of the complex.
