On 17 January 2017 we were at BIMagination (#BIMi17) at Magna Pars, Milan.
The event was organised by Autodesk Italia which presented, along with Ilaria Lagazio, the latest news in the world of architecture, engineering and buildings.
The hosts included CEOs, partners and managers of the greatest public and private Northern Italy societies.
Professor Aldo Norsa presented his “Report 2016 on the Italian Architecture and Engineering Industry” forecasting 2017 take-overs.
For the first time a new slide shows a map including “BIM ready” architecture and engineering firms in Italy, where Open Project is quoted among the two BIM firms in Emilia Romagna of the 36 in Italy.
After some integrated design case studies, the dinner started.
Exclusiveness, networking, presentation of top level case studies and the location were the keypoints of the Autodesk event.
Rumor: in 2019 BIM will be mandatory in public procurement.
Keep following hashtag #BIMi17 because at the next meeting Open Project will be on stage to show its BIM projects!
